This site pretty much exists as a new years resolution. A new years resolution to get fit again. This blog is going to be my crutch. My sole purpose is to create this for me. I figure the more content I post here, the more information I provide, the more insight into my journey will help create a bigger community and thus support network for me to get to my goals, of which are never ending.
So what is the goal exactly? I want to get fit again. To get that clear and active mind that is driven and hungry to compete. I’ve had it numerous times before but I fear to admit that it’s been some 3 years since I’ve had it. I kind of feel that I’ve missed many opportunities due to this.
So how will I measure my success. I am going to determine some key races and milestones for me to measure success against. Overall however I will be using FTP as a measurement. This is basically the power I can drive through my legs for an hour, quantified in the units of wattage. I’ll get more into my set up soon, with photos via an instagram account. But for now, I will establish a baseline of fitness and then update my progress in this blog.
